And my other first.. paper screen painting/ printing..
Well it is a first attempt.. So that means it didn't exactly go as planned.. But it did go ok! So first I picked an image. Got my wax (uh not the right kind.) paper ready. I'm fairly good at free handing so I just whipped out an elephant out pretty quick using a reference on my computer.
Then I got my new purple onesie and I ironed on the wax paper. Make that tried to iron the wax paper on. Apparently you need to use 'Freezer Paper' not just plain old wax. So I held the paper while I attempted painting.. I painted it on with silver Lumiere by Jacquard... I'm in love. I want to make another one with a giraffe and elephant and a tutu sewn on. I'll take pictures once it's all dry and ironed and on my sweet baby. :)
